FUNDAMENTALS OF EXECUTIVE PROTECTION
The Executive Protection Course (EP-1) gives participants a first-hand, detailed understanding of basic executive protection as well as enabling them to obtain required state permits, the first step to obtain any security job in California. The course is delivered at a discount cost with instruction by topnotch trainers and bodyguards. The course directors are former U.S. military and Israeli Special Forces members. This is an opportunity to share in their vast experience.
The course objective is to provide the participants training in the fundamentals of high-end executive protection, including VIP, executive and celebrity protection, in the day-to-day civilian environment.
THE 8-DAY COURSE
Executive Protection Fundamentals: Training in the different aspects of protecting celebrities and high-end clientele. The course discusses the psychological aspects of the activity, as well as the various elements of escorting or “detail,” as it is called in the security or protection industry. This includes an understanding of estate security, dealing with paparazzi, and more. All training is reinforced with simulations, scenarios and drills.
Handgun Shooting Tactics: Provides handgun training, including safety positions and complex drills.**
ECD 'Taser': Receive certification and instruction on the legal aspects, operation and proper deployment of an Electronic Control Device (taser).
Defensive Evasive Driving: Provides training in car control and includes classroom studies and various driving exercises. Training will be conducted by Fast Lane, the official racing school of Toyota Motor Sports.***
CPR: The student will be certified for two years in first aid AED (defibrillator) and CPR by the American Heart Association.
Arrest and Control: ASC Arrest and Control Course will give any Officer the skills and abilities to effectively make an arrest, subdue and handcuff subjects who are compliant and or combative. The Student(s) will learn basic and advanced handcuffing techniques in accordance with modern Law Enforcement standards.
Hand-to-Hand Defense: Specific training for crowd control management and close encounters using methods to protect the client. Training will utilize 'Dennis Survival' techniques which is the martial art discipline used by the Israeli military special forces units.
